Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2026 National Congress of Coloproctology<\/a>, which will take place on 15\u201317 April 2026 in Mamaia, under the theme \u201cHolistic Patient Care in Coloproctology.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s edition aims to provide a modern, integrated, and pragmatic perspective on colorectal pathology, bringing together surgeons, gastroenterologists, radiologists, oncologists, and other specialists directly involved in the care of coloproctology patients. The scientific program reflects this multidisciplinary approach, combining the latest scientific evidence with the practical experience of internationally recognized experts.<\/p>\n

Over the three days of the congress, topics of major interest will be addressed, including:<\/p>\n

Colorectal and rectal cancer, with emphasis on personalized treatment, organ preservation, advanced surgical techniques, and the role of modern imaging modalities<\/p>\n

Robotic and laparoscopic surgery, with dedicated sessions on the safe and reproducible implementation of minimally invasive surgical programs<\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence in coloproctology, from endoscopic and surgical applications to data\u2011driven decision support<\/p>\n

Inflammatory bowel diseases, approached through an integrated medical\u2013surgical perspective aligned with current international guidelines<\/p>\n

Emergencies and complications in coloproctology, featuring interactive sessions and panel discussions<\/p>\n

Pelvic floor disorders, functional assessment, and modern strategies for treatment and rehabilitation<\/p>\n

The congress will include free paper sessions, educational videos, \u201cHow I do it\u201d presentations, joint medical\u2013surgical sessions, as well as post\u2011congress courses dedicated to both surgeons and gastroenterologists interested in ultrasound, colorectal MRI, robotic surgery, and updates of international guidelines.<\/p>\n

With the participation of distinguished speakers from Europe and around the world, as well as the active involvement of Romanian specialists, the 2026 National Congress of Coloproctology aims to be not only a landmark scientific event, but also a genuine platform for dialogue, education, and professional collaboration.<\/p>\n

We look forward to welcoming you for three days of academic excellence, applied discussions, and exchange of experience, in a professional and collegial environment dedicated to continuous progress in coloproctology.<\/p>\n
